1979 - Senior officer - Risk Management

We are representing the management company of a large American investment group.

They are looking to reinforce their Risk Management team with a mid-level position for the department.

Your role

In this role, you will manage risk and compliance for investment funds, with a strong focus on Private Equity structures. You will draft and update risk profiles, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure adherence to investment guidelines. Your responsibilities include conducting deal risk reviews and providing risk data for regulatory reports, including AIFMD Annex IV. You will update internal policies in line with regulations and prepare materials for senior stakeholders. Oversight of risk processes, including those handled by internal or external teams, will be key. You will also contribute to improving risk frameworks and enhancing overall efficiency.

Your profile

You have at least 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, ideally within a ManCo or in a Risk Advisory role. You possess a solid understanding of risk management techniques, Value-at-Risk, stress testing, liquidity modeling, and counterparty risk, and AIF regulatory frameworks. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are required. A proactive mindset toward technology and process automation is essential; knowledge of VBA, SQL, Anaplan, Tableau, or PowerBI is a plus.
