1890 - General Counsel
A well-established international investment group based in Luxembourg, specialized in private equity and long-term investments, is looking for its new General Counsel.
The goal in this role is to secure all investment processes and strengthen the governance framework across funds and managed entities.
Your role
You will manage all legal aspects of private equity transactions, negotiate key agreements (SPAs, SHAs), and ensure regulatory compliance (notably AIFMD).
You will manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as law firms, and safeguard the organization’s legal interests.
You will play an active role in corporate governance and in the supervision of the Legal team, while anticipating and implementing regulatory changes.
You will as well supervise all Compliance and AML aspects and the legal entities of the group.
Your profile
You have at least 10 years of experience with a focus on PE investments and expertise in complex transactions.
You are a strategic thinker with a strong legal and business acumen, as well as solid negotiation skills.
