Behind every client and candidate is a person with a career or business aspiration. Our mission is to guide them towards success, be it professional or commercial.

Since the founding of our agency in 2014, the recruitment process has become more complex. The employer/candidate relationship begins well before the initial interactions. That’s why we assist our clients in enhancing their employer brand, communicating their values more effectively, and even daring to shake up their recruitment practices to attract and retain the talents they need to meet their economic challenges.

Beyond its financial hub, it’s the entire economy, natural setting, and way of life that attract nearly 480,000 employees each year. Almost half of them do not reside in Luxembourg. That’s why, as a Luxembourgish recruitment agency, GOTOfreedom acts as the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg’s ambassador to talents from around the world.

Our Commitment to the Recruitment Profession

We owe it to Luxembourgish companies to provide quality recruitment services. This is the role of the FR2S (Federation for Search and Recruitment), of which GOTOfreedom is a founding member. As co-president of the association, Gwladys Costant is dedicated to working with members and partners of the association to ensure the ethics of our profession and to defend member agencies at both the national and European levels.

Our profession is to find the talents our clients need, both locally and beyond. Some missions can prove challenging without an international network. We value our independence, but equally, we are committed to surrounding ourselves with the best partners. We have chosen to be part of the SpenglerFox network, which assists us in identifying executive talents or those with rare technical skills, no matter where they are based. As such, we are able to present our clients with the best profiles regardless of their location.

Coming from a family of businesswomen and being a graduate of the ICN Business School in Nancy, it was only natural for Gwladys Costant to choose entrepreneurship. Her first challenge? Developing Robert Walters Luxembourg from scratch. 6 years later, she established her first recruitment agency in Brussels and Luxembourg. As a founding partner, she dedicated herself to it for 6 more years.

In 2014, she decided to set up her own agency: GOTOfreedom. For her, money isn’t a value; she prefers to focus on the advice and long-term vision she can offer her clients.

She shares this ethical and more human-centric vision of recruitment with other agencies of the fr2s (Federation for Recruitment, Search and Selection), the Luxembourgish recruitment federation created under the auspices of Fedil, of which she is a co-founder and co-president. Today, she makes her voice heard and rallies recruiters around her, ready to champion the attractiveness of the Luxembourg job market and the best practices of the profession.

A partner at GOTOfreedom since 2017, Jérôme Carbonnelle holds a Master’s degree from the Louvain School of Management (UCLouvain). He furthered his studies at the Leopold Franzens Universität Innsbruck and the ICHEC, Brussels Management School. He began his career at Crédit Agricole Indosuez and has held positions in business development, management, and board advisory in various financial institutions (banks, funds, asset managers, Manco’s, and VC in tech companies) in Luxembourg, France, and Belgium. Among these are: Degroof Petercam, La Française, Internet Attitude, Banque Internationale Luxembourg, and Pure Capital.

His expertise lies in governance, management and business development, coordination of IT migration, business growth, change management, and structuring a new business model.
