Our client is a well-established professional services firm in Luxembourg, recognised for its technical standards, entrepreneurial culture and close client relationships. As part of its growth strategy, the firm is strengthening its tax compliance practice and is looking for a senior leader to take full ownership of this service line.
Your role
As Director – Tax Compliance, you will lead and develop the tax compliance function with full accountability for quality, people, clients and financial performance. This is a true head-of-function role, combining technical leadership with commercial responsibility and strategic influence.
You will oversee the delivery of Luxembourg tax compliance services for a diversified client base, act as a trusted senior advisor on complex matters and ensure consistently high standards of governance and risk management. Beyond day-to-day leadership, you will drive profitability, support business development, contribute to firm-wide strategy and actively position the tax compliance practice in the market. You will also play a key role in transformation initiatives, including process optimisation and the adoption of technology to enhance efficiency and client experience.
Your profile
You are a senior Luxembourg tax professional with at least twelve years of experience and a proven leadership track record. You combine deep technical expertise with a pragmatic, client-focused mindset and are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, including tax authorities. You enjoy building teams, developing talent and growing long-term client relationships. You work fluently in English and French and bring the credibility, clarity and confidence expected at director level.
