2237 - Financial Controller | Private Equity
A leading European private equity firm, with the office in the city centre, is looking for an Controller to join its Luxembourg team. You’ll work in a 5-people team, composed by young professional and a great team leader and mentor, working alongside investment professionals, banks, lawyers and tax advisers, gaining exposure to private equity transactions, from acquisition to exit.
Your role
You will oversee Luxembourg SPVs throughout the investment lifecycle by:
- Coordinating acquisitions, refinancings, reorganisations, distributions and exits
- Managing fund flows, shareholder loans, banking and liquidity
- Liaising with deal teams, banks, lawyers, tax advisers and service providers
- Reviewing legal documentation, board packs and transaction documents
- Monitoring AML/KYC, regulatory and tax requirements
- Reviewing annual accounts and supporting financial reporting
Your profile
- Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or a related field
- Around 3 years’ experience in audit or fund services with exposure to Private Equity and/or Luxembourg SPVs
- Knowledge covering accounting, corporate governance, legal and KYC matters
- Strong Excel skills
- Fluent English
- Proactive, agile and confident communicating with multiple stakeholders
